A highlight of a barn owl consuming a pom, a lovely metaphor. 

This painting is done with acrylic on a really pretty slab of (what I THINK is) a spalted oak. The whole piece is tall and thin, measuring at about 25" long. There is also gold gilding on the owl's halo!
